Audi owners in Musaffah, where are you getting transmission work done?
I've been putting off dealing with this for months now and I think I've finally run out of excuses because the gearbox in my 2015 A6 is starting to behave in ways that genuinely worry me. It started off subtle, just a slightly harsh shift from second to third when the car was cold, the kind of thing you convince yourself is normal or just your imagination, but over the past few weeks it's got noticeably worse and now there's a definite hesitation when I accelerate from a standstill, almost like the car is thinking about it before it actually moves. A couple of times it's thumped into gear hard enough that my wife asked what that noise was, and last week the dashboard threw up a transmission warning that disappeared after I restarted the engine but left me feeling sick for the rest of the drive. I know these multitronic and S tronic boxes have a reputation for being fussy and expensive when they go wrong, and I'm desperate to get it looked at before something catastrophic happens, but the problem is I genuinely don't know who to trust in this city. I'm not looking for a bargain, I'm looking for someone who will actually fix it properly and stand behind their work, so any genuine recommendations or warnings would be massively appreciated because I really don't want to get this wrong.
