My Tiguan needs some serious paint TLC - worth getting it detailed?
I've been going back and forth on this for a while now and figured I'd ask here before I make a decision. I've got a 2018 Tiguan in that deep metallic gray color, and honestly, it looks great from 10 feet away, but up close the paint is a mess. There's swirl marks everywhere from the previous owner's washing habits, a few scuffs on the bumpers from tight parking spots, and the hood has this dull haze that I just cannot seem to buff out by hand. I've been looking into getting a proper paint correction and ceramic coating done, but I'm not entirely sure if it's worth the investment on a car that's already a few years old and gets daily driven. I don't want to spend a ton of money only to have it look great for a few months and then go back to looking tired again, especially with how harsh the sun is here.
